Blue Ridge Wireless offers full, onsite cell phone repair and refurbishing for cell phones including RIM's Blackberry devices, HTC PDAs and Apple's iPhone. Our repair capabilities include everything from basic cosmetic and modular component replacement to board level soldering, reflow and component replacement. Our aim is to provide a range of cellular repair solutions to keep your handset working.
We support repairs on some level for most manufacturers including Motorola, Nokia, LG, Kyocera, HTC, RIM, and Palm. Cell phones from other manufacturers, including Apple, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Utstarcom/Audiovox are supported on a limited basis. We do NOT support foreign cell phones unless the same model was offered in the US.
We offer full repair and software update services to wholesalers, cell phone retailers and cellular service providers at significantly discount prices. We welcome contract and piece work from other cell phone repair centers.
Liquid Damage - There is no real method for properly cleaning a wet cell phone:
Given the use of lead free solder and the complexity of the PCBs in today's cell phones, we do not repair liquid damaged cell phones. Once wet, the chance of saving a phone is negligible at best. We get plenty of customers that may tell us "only the display does not work" and wonder why we just cannot replace it. The display itself might not be the problem. The circuit that controls the display may be the issue. Without tracing each and every circuit, attempting to repair liquid damaged phones is impossible regardless of what other may tell you! If wet cell phones could be repaired, the manufacturers would do it themselves.
The ONLY exception - we will attempt to repair a liquid damaged cell phones for the sole purpose of data recovery.

Is your cell phone dropping calls? Blue Ridge Wireless has the ability to perform detailed call tests on GSM cell phones by connecting your handset to an in house RF signal generator.
Cell Phone and Parts Recycling:
Blue Ridge Wireless has a comprehensive recycling system in place. This includes the separate collection and proper disposal/reclamation of phones, batteries, broken LCD modules, scrapped PCBs and components, and old housings as part of our repair process. Additionally, we will gladly accept any cell phone or battery dropped off or sent to us. We are working to maintain as 'green' a cell phone repair center as possible.
