Blue Ridge Wireless offers full, onsite cell phone repair and refurbishing for cell phones including RIM's Blackberry devices and HTC PDA phones. Our repair capabilities include everything from basic cosmetic and modular component replacement / refurbishing to board level soldering, reflow and component replacement. Our aim is to provide a range of cellular repair solutions to keep your handset working.
We support repairs on some level for most manufacturers including Motorola, Nokia, LG, Kyocera, HTC, RIM, and Palm. Cell phones from other manufacturers, including Samsung and Sony Ericsson are supported on a more limited basis. We now offer limited support for foreign cell phones.
We offer full repair and software update services to wholesalers, cell phone retailers and cellular service providers at significantly discount prices. We welcome contract and piece work from other cell phone repair centers.

Automated Database System:
In an effort to enhance our quality control and to keep our clients better informed, we had a custom repair database created. Large accounts, dealers and carriers are now able to log in their cell phones prior to shipping them to us for repair. At each step of the repair process, from the phone's arrival through repair, testing and shipping, all actions are logged. Every update in our system generates an automated email that is sent directly to the client. As well. clients can log in to the system from anywhere to check the status of ANY phone is or has ever been in our facility.
Liquid Damage - There is no real method for properly cleaning a wet cell phone:
Given the use of lead free solder and the complexity of the PCBs in today's cell phones, we do not repair liquid damaged cell phones. Once wet, the chance of saving a phone is negligible at best. We get plenty of customers that may tell us "only the display does not work" and wonder why we just cannot replace it. The display itself might not be the problem. The circuit that controls the display may be the issue. Without tracing every circuit, attempting to repair liquid damaged phones is impossible regardless of what other may tell you! If wet cell phones could be repaired, the manufacturers would do it themselves.
The ONLY exception - we will attempt to repair a liquid damaged cell phones for the sole purpose of data recovery.

We generally have a good collection of basic to high end phones and PDAs. These are on-site repaired units, so while we offer no warranties, we are confident that you will NOT have any issues. These are not units bouught online or from end users. All of the handsets come through our dealer remanufacturing program, but for cost or other reasons cannot be refurbished. We know why they need repairs and their history. If we are the least bit unsure of the phone's quality, it will not be resold. The basis for this program is to help our clients recover lost revenues so quality units are a priority.

- We now offer CDMA flashing to allow you to move your existing handset from one carrier to another. Services include simpe flashing (calls and text messaging) to full flashes where possible.

GSM Cell Phone RF Conductive Call Testing:
Is your cell phone dropping calls? Blue Ridge Wireless has the ability to perform detailed call tests on GSM cell phones by connecting your handset to an in house RF signal generator.
Cell Phone and Parts Recycling:
Blue Ridge Wireless has a comprehensive recycling system in place. This includes the separate collection and proper disposal/reclamation of phones, chargers, batteries, broken LCD modules, scrapped PCBs and components, and old housings as part of our repair process. Additionally, we will gladly accept any cell phone, charger or battery dropped off or sent to us. We are working to maintain as 'green' a cell phone repair center as possible.
To add to our 'green' footprint, we are now using only compact, energy efficient flourescent bulbs throughout our facility.
